Metropolitan areas including Paris, the capital of France, have been designated as the'highest boundary' area for Corona 19.

This decision was made as we judged that the spread of Corona 19 was serious.

The French Prime Minister's Office has designated Paris, Audesen, Sen-Saint-Denis, and Valdemarne as the'highest boundary' areas for Corona 19 on the afternoon of the 4th local time, daily Le Figaro and BFM broadcasts reported.

Mayor Ahn Hidalgo will hold a press conference at 11:30 am on the 5th to announce the health regulations that must be followed in the region for two weeks starting on the 6th.

According to the level of COVID-19 spread in each region, France has rated them in five stages: pre-border, vigilant, high vigilance, highest vigilance, and health emergencies, and has established guidelines that must be followed at each stage.

The highest alert level is lowered when the number of corona19 confirmed cases is 250 or more per 100,000 population, the elderly patient is 100 or more per 100,000 population, and more than 30% to less than 60% of the intensive care unit beds are filled with Corona 19 patients.

Originally, the French Ministry of Health had a policy to close bars and restaurants in areas with the highest vigilance rating, but allowed restaurants to be opened on the premise that strict health rules were followed.

As a result, restaurants are scheduled to open next week in Marseille, France's second city, and French Guadeloupe, previously designated the highest border.

However, in the metropolitan area such as Paris, which was classified as a high-gyeonggye area until now, bars could also be open until 10pm, but now they are not open.

The French Ministry of Health said on the day that the number of corona19 confirmed cases increased by 12,565 per day to a total of 619,000.

The death toll increased by 32 to a total of 32,230.
