“Over the past 24 hours in Russia, there have been 10,499 confirmed cases of a new coronavirus infection COVID-19 in 85 regions, including 2,920 (27.8%) actively detected without clinical manifestations,” the headquarters said in a statement.
A similar number of cases of coronavirus in the country were last detected in mid-May.
The day before, it was reported that 9859 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia per day.
More than 47 million coronavirus tests have been carried out in Russia.
Earlier, the WHO called on to avoid "complete lockdowns" due to coronavirus.
