, the former sports director and coach of OM José Anigo was indicted for "criminal association with a view to committing a crime".
Placed under judicial supervision, he escapes any pre-trial detention procedure after several days in police custody.
Thursday, the Marseille prosecutor's office announced the dismantling "of a team of criminals engaged in diversified criminal activities and belonging to Marseille banditry".
This team is suspected among other things of "money laundering and extortion to the detriment of night establishments and in the football world".

Olympique de Marseille announced Friday that it was going to become a civil party in the judicial investigation opened against this criminal network suspected of extortion in the football community and of which the club could be a victim.
By becoming a civil party, "the club wants to have full access to the file, participate in the manifestation of the truth and shed light on questionable practices around transfers if they still exist", explained to AFP the lawyer of the 'OM, Olivier Baratelli.
José Anigo was "dismissed by the club", emphasized OM in his press release.
