In Côte d'Ivoire, less than a month before the presidential election, the last investiture ceremony took place this Sunday in Abidjan.

After Alassane Ouattara, Pascal Affi N'Guessan and Henri Konan Bedié, it is Kouadio Konan Bertin who formalized his presidential ambitions in front of his supporters.

The candidate Kouadio Konan Bertin had made a risky bet, that of filling the amphitheater of the Palais de la culture in Treichville: 2,500 places.

Bet raised.

Throughout the day, many excited fans danced, sang and cheered their candidate in a relaxed atmosphere, not to say fearless at times.

», Appeared dressed in white and purple, the colors he chose to campaign.

It primarily addressed young people and women.

There were strong supporters in the audience, but many people also came out of curiosity.

 We don't really know him, we want to know what he offers, 

" explained Rose.

No call for civil disobedience

The speech was rather short, around twenty minutes, but the candidate had time to outline his program by presenting several measures in favor of youth and the most disadvantaged.

He also took the opportunity to comment on his recent exclusion from the PDCI.

He denounced " 

the war of egos which has lasted too long 

".

"

 Ivorians are tired, 

" he told RFI at the microphone.

On the

call for civil disobedience

launched by several opposition parties, he also reaffirmed that he did not support actions that could reinforce divisions and provoke violence.
