A girl aged ten has at one point during the summer of 2020 been abused by a close relative.
The perpetrator has touched the girl's intimate parts and also pressed his sex against hers.
The perpetrator is an Uppsala resident in his 40s.
He is sentenced by Uppsala District Court to one year and four months in prison for aggravated sexual abuse of children.
The prosecutor had primarily demanded that he be convicted of raping a child.
The prosecutor had also demanded that the man be convicted of sexual harassment, as she believes that the man on several occasions over a period of two years must have persuaded the girl to touch his sex on the outside of his clothes.
But Uppsala District Court acquits him on that point.
The man must also pay damages of SEK 55,000 to the girl.
