The reopening of the Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah and Zayed City

The Ministry of Presidential Affairs, in coordination with the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority, announced the reopening of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah, and Zayed the founder stated, in front of visitors, as part of a system of precautionary measures to prevent the Coronavirus, after the precautionary closure during the past months.

The Ministry has adopted a number of measures to reopen cultural monuments to visitors from different cultures, within an integrated system of precautionary requirements to maintain the safety of visitors, which included determining the capacity to enter cultural attractions by controlling the number of visitors in a way that avoids crowding and ensures them a safety space and the smooth flow of their movement during their wandering in the place.

The measures also included the installation of thermal cameras to detect body temperature at the entrances to cultural monuments, with the allocation of a room to isolate those who notice their high body temperature until the arrival of the specialized medical team.
