02 October 2020Three new Covid cases in Genoa, which are added to the 16 already encountered during last week, and two in Naples: the Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski and a collaborator.

The latest 'bulletin' of the positives among the Serie A players tells, on the one hand, how the spread of the outbreak within the Ligurian team has not yet died out and, on the other, like the budget for Napoli, waiting for a third round of tampons, was strongly contained after the championship match against 'il grifone'.

Zielinski, in fact, remained on the field for over 70 minutes, even scoring a goal, but he is the only one, for now, to suffer the consequences.

Genoa-Turin, originally scheduled for Saturday at 6 pm, remains the only match postponed on the next championship day.

There is no risk for Juventus-Napoli, scheduled for Sunday evening, at least according to the rule approved yesterday by the League which provides that the clubs can ask, once in the season, to postpone the match with at least 10 positive cases within a week.

The only ones who will not be able to participate in the Turin trip will be Zielinski, who began his quarantine in solitary confinement today, and Giandomenico Costi, the company collaborator who was also infected after the checks carried out yesterday.

On the other hand, the situation of Genoa remains problematic, whose activities at the Signorini Sports Center are suspended until Monday.

The positivity of the players Petar Brlek and Miha Zajc, in addition to that of the technical collaborator Walter Bressan, are added to those of Mattia Destro, Valon Behrami, Francesco Cassata, Lukas Lerager, Federico Marchetti, Filippo Melegoni, Luca Pellegrini, Mattia Perin, Marko Pjaca , Ivan Radovanovic, Lasse Schone and Davide Zappacosta among the players, and those of Pietro Cistaro, Alessandro Donato, Pietro Gatto and Matteo Perasso, among the staff members.

The total thus rose to 19 cases, of which 13 were players.
