“Alexander Lukashenko expressed gratitude for Russia's help in combating the spread of coronavirus infection, first of all, for the decision to supply the Russian vaccine to Belarus on a priority basis,” TASS reports.

The Kremlin also reported that during the talks, Putin and Lukashenko discussed the post-election situation in Belarus "taking into account the ongoing attempts to interfere from the outside."

In addition, special attention was paid to the aggravation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Earlier, Minsk reported about a telephone conversation between Lukashenka and Putin.

On September 14, Putin, at a meeting with Lukashenko in Sochi, confirmed that Belarus would be the first country to receive the Russian coronavirus vaccine.
