“I would count on mass vaccination not earlier than May 2021, but vaccines should appear earlier,” he said on the air of the Voice of the People program on the 112 Ukraine TV channel.

Lyashko clarified that currently four vaccines against COVID-19 are being tested in Ukraine.

Earlier, Lyashko said that a coronavirus vaccine for mass use could appear in Ukraine in early March 2021. 

On September 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the creation of a center to coordinate scientific and production capacities in order to provide the state with domestic vaccines.
