In Nantes, a driving school instructor suspected of sexual assault

A former driver of a Nantes driving school was arrested Monday and taken into custody as part of an investigation into suspicion of sexual assault, reports the national police.

Two young women, just adults, filed a complaint.

They say they were victims of touching, at the level of the crotch, while they were driving, in 2019. Alerted by the students, the driving school management had chosen to dismiss the driver.

Appeal to victims

When questioned by investigators, the latter, aged 43, denied the acts with which he is accused.

He was released, under judicial supervision, pending trial.

The national police, however, fear that other students may have been attacked.

"All potential victims are invited to report themselves," she says.
