The official representative of the country's Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan called on citizens to keep calm.
"Air defenses sometimes make a lot of noise, don't worry," he wrote.
Earlier, Russian and Turkish Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov and Mevlut Cavusoglu in a telephone conversation discussed the escalation of tension around Nagorno-Karabakh, and also noted the inadmissibility of the involvement of militants from other regions in the conflict.
On October 1, the Presidents of Russia, the United States and France, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron, adopted a joint statement on the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
The leaders "condemn in the strongest possible terms the escalation of violence taking place on the line of contact in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict."
