Conflict deepens in battle with Armenia Azerbaijan October 1, 9:13

Former Soviet Armenia has released a photo of its fighter jet being shot down in a battle over a dispute with neighboring Azerbaijan.

Armenia claims that it was a Turkish fighter in support of Azerbaijan that was shot down for Turkish military intervention, but both Azerbaijan and Turkey denied and the conflict deepened.

Between Azerbaijan and Armenia, a large-scale battle over the Nagorno-Karabakh Autonomous Region in western Azerbaijan reignited on the 27th of last month, killing more than 100 people in four days.

On the 30th, the Armenian government released four new photos of the scene where its SU25 fighter was shot down.

According to the Armenian government, the Turkish Air Force's F16 fighter, which supports the Azerbaijani army, was shot down, killing one pilot and claiming to be involved in Turkish military intervention.

In response, the Turkish government denied the shooting down, and Azerbaijan's President Aliev argued that "the Turkish Air Force has not participated in any battle."

Meanwhile, Turkey's Foreign Minister Chaushor said on the 30th that he would "do what he needed to do" when requested by Azerbaijan, suggesting the possibility of providing military assistance.
