For the commission which has been organizing the presidential debates since 1987,

Tuesday night's debacle

cannot be repeated.

Changes are necessary to provide structure for the next debates,

" announced the chairman of the bi-partisan committee.

The objective is to allow coherent exchanges on the subjects raised without continuous interruptions.

It is not yet clear what these new rules would be, but some commentators suggest giving the moderator the possibility of simply cutting the microphone of the candidate who does not respect the debate.

In any case, Donald Trump believes he beat Joe Biden on Tuesday night.

And when journalists ask him again why he did not clearly condemn the extreme right groups, the president replies: “

I don't know who the Proud Boys are.

The only thing I can say is that they have to step back and let the police do their job.

 "

Joe Biden was touring Ohio and Pennsylvania, industrial land, meeting unions and workers.

He accused the president of being “

a disgrace to the country

 ”: “

What I saw on Tuesday night was all about him.

He did not speak to you or raise your concerns.

Donald Trump broke his promise.

He said he was a candidate to stand up for the Forgotten Americans, but he forgot you as soon as he was elected.

 "

The new polls indicate that Joe Biden would have won the debate slightly.

The 2 candidates must face each other again on October 15 and 22.
