Trade unions proposed to abolish the funded part of the pension in Russia

"The Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia proposes to stop the practice of increasing the expected payment period, to resolve the issue of the legislative withdrawal of the funded component from the ... pension insurance system," the message says. 

In mid-May, the Pension Fund of Russia noted that funded pensions will be increased by 9.13% this year, recalculation will be made from August 1.

Also in May, State Duma Deputy Svetlana Bessarab, in an interview with FAN, commented on the situation with funded pensions.
