Members of the Islamic Fiqh Academy in Sudan unanimously issued fatwas prohibiting normalization with Israel in all areas.

A statement by the gathering at the conclusion of a meeting of its members in Khartoum on Tuesday said that this fatwa prohibiting normalization came "as support for injustice and aiding in sin and aggression."

In response to those who promote normalization as an interest to Sudan, the members of the Islamic Fiqh Academy considered that "the intended interest of normalization in Sudan is delusional, and the religious and worldly corruption prevails."

The Secretary of Scientific Affairs at the Islamic Fiqh Academy in Sudan, Adam Ibrahim Al-Shein, called for standing with the Palestinian people until they recover their usurped land.

The Islamic Fiqh Academy is considered one of the most important governmental institutions in Sudan that issues fatwas.

It should be noted that Sudanese forces announced their rejection of normalization with Israel earlier, in conjunction with the normalization of the UAE and Bahrain.

The head of the Sovereignty Council in Sudan, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, visited Abu Dhabi earlier, heading a delegation that held an expanded dialogue with an American delegation over a period of 3 days, and the discussions included Sudan's role in peace with Israel.
