The mother and grandmother of a student in an elementary school in Cap d'Agde (Hérault) appear this Wednesday before the Béziers criminal court.

On September 28, 2019, in the office of the director of the establishment, the two women are accused of having attacked a teacher, of having insulted her, beaten her and threatened with death.

The defendants would not have supported the child, aged 6, being reprimanded by the victim in the playground.

The assault was filmed.

A complaint

The teacher had filed a complaint, and taken care of by a psychologist.

A few days after the attack, Béatrice Gille, who was then rector of Occitanie, said she was "shocked" and "strongly condemned this act" and expressed "her unconditional support for the teacher, the school principal and to the educational community.
