Najibullah Najafi from Afghanistan is one of 118 people who are in the Swedish Migration Board's detention center in Märsta and are waiting to be deported.

Normally there are 173 places, but due to the pandemic and security work on the premises, they are significantly fewer now.

- Corona has made it possible for me to see only my wife and my newborn daughter through the window.

I can not be visited by them, says Najibullah Najafi.

The curfew is lifted at the turn of the month

The repository in Märsta has decided to ease the visit ban and from the first of October, the inmates will be able to receive visits.

- The longer you are detained, the greater the risk that you will have poorer health, says Tommy Harnesk who is section manager at the repository in Märsta.
