One less rambling.
A fleeing wallaby was spotted by passers-by then recovered safe and sound by the gendarmerie, Monday, in Bellevigny (Vendée), north of La Roche-sur-Yon, reports

It is indeed the 3-year-old male marsupial who escaped from his enclosure, with a female, during the night of September 20 to 21, in the same sector.
Several witnesses had reported seeing one or the other in recent days.
The couple's great escape had even resulted in an interruption of rail traffic on September 21.
The female wallaby is still missing.
