reports that between last night and this morning "intense fighting" between Azeri forces and separatist Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh "has continued along the entire front."

According to Azerbaijan, the Armenian forces attempted to "resume their lost positions" with military actions in the directions of Fizuli-Jabrailsky and Agder-Tertersky but were repulsed by the Azerbaijani troops, who now report that they are carrying out an offensive to conquer the town of Fizuli.
Twenty-six Armenian soldiers died in the evening in clashes with Azerbaijani forces in the self-proclaimed republic of Nagorno-Karabakh.
