“I have already been transferred fourteen or fifteen times, but the other day I was transferred again,” one of the commission members who visited him in the isolation ward quotes Arashukov as saying.

According to him, the TV does not work in the new cell, and on the day of arrival a cloud of dust escaped from the ventilation hole.

“We almost suffocated with a cellmate,” says Arashukov.

A representative of the SIZO administration explained to the PMC that dust in the cell could have appeared due to the ongoing work on the overhaul of the building.

Arashukov, according to members of the PMC, regards transfers to different cells as a form of pressure on him.

The interlocutor of RT noted that Arashukov had previously asked to stop the practice of regular transfers to different cameras in conversations with members of the commission.

He also told the PMC that, despite repeated requests, he did not receive the reading lamp given to the remand prison by his relatives due to his visual impairment.

Earlier, the request to transfer the lamp to Lefortovo was made by the ex-journalist of Kommersant and Vedomosti, adviser to the head of Roscosmos, Ivan Safronov, accused of high treason.
