Official poster of the BWTCHD concert at the Dame de Canton - Du Bout des Etangs

Bwtchd (Maïlys Mallet) + Amhaya part 1

Live> Jazz / Blues - 12-15 euros

BWTCHD has just recorded its 1st album, and you will discover it exclusively this Tuesday, September 29.

Maïlys Mallet, 4th generation in a line of Franco-Greek writers, in her sextet BWTCHD, bewitches a universe that orbits around femininity, ancient and future, tormented, sensual and revolted.

She sometimes gives music to the Greek mythological poems and figures of her mother and grandmother.

Firmly planted in an urban hip-hop groove, his songs bring out the flowers of a lo-fi jazz fusion with the proud poetic sap of a Sappho.

Suspended from the unexpected crossroads of glasperian jazz and song, rap and De Bussy, the avant-garde fusion of BWTCHD makes Hiatus Kaiyote, Brassens, Duke Ellington and Camille sway together.
