Egyptian revolutionary forces and political movements abroad have organized activities in support of the escalating popular movement in Egypt since September 20 and calls for the departure of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

The World Coalition of Egyptians Abroad and the Egyptian Revolutionary Council called for demonstrations in front of Egyptian embassies abroad and in main squares in major cities in several countries, to demand the Egyptian regime to respect the right to demonstrate and protect citizens.

Al-Jazeera Net correspondent monitored the organization of 15 various activities abroad, and stops in front of the Egyptian embassies in some countries, such as France, Britain and Canada, as well as the United States.

The activities began in a number of European Union countries, since Friday, September 25, in solidarity with the demonstrations in the villages of Egypt, as the Coalition for Defense of Democracy in France organized a protest stand in front of the Eiffel Tower in the capital, Paris.

The Egyptian community also organized a sit-in in the English city of Birmingham, while the Egyptian-German coalition organized a stand in front of the Egyptian embassy in the capital Berlin, raising pictures of the Egyptian president with the word "Leave" on it, in a reflection of the demonstrators' demands inside Egypt that Sisi leave power.

In Canada, dozens of Egyptians demonstrated, demanding the departure of Sisi, and the release of thousands of detainees in Egyptian prisons.

Events also continued outside Egypt on Saturday, as dozens of Egyptians gathered in the center of Milan, Italy, waving Egyptian flags, and in the Canadian city of Montreal, the Egyptian community demonstrated in support of the demonstrations.

For the second day in a row, the Coalition for Defense of Democracy in France continued its vigil in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Demonstrations in front of Egyptian embassies abroad continued for the second day, as dozens of Egyptians organized a stand in front of the Egyptian embassy in New York, USA, and Egyptians demonstrated in front of the Egyptian embassy in the Netherlands, chanting slogans against Sisi.

To complement the movement of Egyptians abroad for the third day, the Coordinating Council of the Egyptian Community in Austria organized a stand in front of the Egyptian Embassy in the capital Vienna, and the Federation of Egyptians in Bosnia also organized a protest stand in front of the Egyptian embassy.

The Egyptian community in Australia also organized a demonstration in downtown Sydney, with the participation of a wide range of political movement figures.

From Europe to Africa, the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy in South Africa organized a stop in Johannesburg.

The organizers of the events confirmed that they come in support of the ongoing movement in Egypt since September 20, in response to the call of the actor and contractor Muhammad Ali to demand the departure of Sisi.

Messages for home and abroad

The head of the Egyptian-German coalition, Ali Al-Awadi, said that the movement of the Egyptian people in the villages inflamed the hearts and feelings of Egyptians abroad, so they went out showing their support for their families at home.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, Al-Awadi added that the Egyptians' departure in most countries of the world and the stops in front of Egypt's embassies abroad are a message that we are not less than our people who stand with their bare chests in front of the military fire.

For his part, the head of the media office of the Egyptian Revolutionary Council, Mohamed Salah, said that the council issued a public call since the beginning of the movement for Egyptians abroad, inviting them to stand in front of embassies and communicate with members of parliaments and Western governments in their countries, in order to convey the voice of the continuous movement inside Egypt.

Speaking to Al-Jazeera Net, Salah added that the activities abroad have a strong message to the protesters in Egypt, which is that Egyptians abroad are with you and support your movement that demands the overthrow of Sisi.

Salah explained that the outside demonstrations aimed to clarify the image of the movement in the cities of Egypt, and how the Sisi regime dealt with it and bypassed it against the demonstrators, as well as the violations that happen to Egyptians.

Salah indicated that the Revolutionary Council sent several messages to the High Commission for the Right to Housing and other international organizations, to demand pressure on the Sisi regime to respect the right of Egyptians to a decent life, and to guarantee the right to demonstrate, and the right to choose their president.

In turn, the coordinator of the Global Coalition of Egyptians Abroad, Mustafa Ibrahim, emphasized that bias towards the movement of Egyptians at home and its defense, and conveying its voice and support, is a constant of the coalition in its strategy to deal with the Egyptian issue.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, Ibrahim stressed that the vigils that were organized abroad aimed to convey the voice of Egyptians at home, in light of the neglect and the blackout imposed by the newspapers and international agencies for the continuous movement, due to the siege imposed by the Sisi regime on its correspondents in Egypt.

Ibrahim explained that the Egyptian coalition is moving in the Egyptian cause on 3 axes: supporting any movement of Egyptians for their legitimate demands and trying to convey their voice to the world, and opposing the oppression that the Egyptian regime practices against the political movement in general, as the coalition tries to focus on human rights issues and support the Egyptian elite in The formation of a political back for the Egyptian movement.
