Hamnett began his 6-day trip on September 16, traveling at a rate of 35 miles per day, and documenting the days of the trip through his personal Twitter account, to encourage more people to donate, as the money goes to 4 charities in Manchester.

After returning to his family again, the 37-year-old father tweeted, "The journey from Glasgow to Manchester on a pink little bike is over! But we don't stop there, we still have a chance to raise money."
