At a meeting with Putin in Sochi, the Kyrgyz president noted that the republic always feels the support of Russia, "especially at this difficult time."

“Thanks to you, we managed to stabilize the epidemiological situation in the country.

And thanks to you, support has been provided to our citizens who live in Russia, "Jeenbekov said.

He also congratulated Russia on the registration of the world's first coronavirus vaccine.

“We hope that the Russian vaccine will be publicly available for our citizens of Kyrgyzstan,” Jeenbekov added.

In August, the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan announced the republic's readiness to purchase the Russian vaccine against coronavirus.
