September 28, 2020 The coronavirus pandemic has brought and continues to bring various social and above all working realities to their knees.

Many jobs have been put at risk in our country in recent months due to safety rules and anti-contagion measures, especially in less developed areas.

As a consequence, "we risk, as Svimez says, of reaching the end of the year with 600-800 thousand fewer jobs in the South", therefore "the social impact is likely to be greater in the less developed areas of the South, especially in terms of of employment ".

This was stated by the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion, Giuseppe Provenzano, in a hearing before the EU Budget and Policy Committees of the Senate in relation to the examination of the Proposal for "Guidelines for the definition of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan", or on the use of European resources defined by the Recovery Fund.
