On September 24, the 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th People's Congress of Hebei Province passed regulations on strict economy and opposing food waste.
According to regulations, radio, television, and online audio and video service providers prohibit the production, transmission, and dissemination of fake foods that induce vomiting, eating large amounts, exaggerated hunting, overeating, and other extravagant behaviors.
On September 18, the official website of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou Municipal People’s Congress of Guangdong Province issued an announcement to solicit opinions and suggestions from the public on the "Guangzhou City’s Regulations on Anti-Catering Waste (Consultation Draft)" (hereinafter referred to as the “Consultation Draft”).
