Egypt .. The Wafd Party sues one of the stores for "Qartas Tamiya"

The Egyptian Wafd Party announced the prosecution of one of the Mutobas Center stores in the northwestern Kafr El Sheikh governorate, due to an insulting image of the party's founder and national leader Saad Zaghloul.

The Secretary-General of the Wafd Party at the Motobas Maher Wahban Center expressed his sorrow over the incident that one of the center's stores used a picture of the leader Saad Zaghloul, while he was holding "Qutas Tamiya" as propaganda.

Wahban said, "This matter is the summit of declining and belittling the history and struggle of a great national leader, and his history does not tolerate joking or propaganda, and this is empty talk."

Wehban added, in a telephone interview with the "90 Minutes" program presented by the journalist Moataz Al-Demerdash and broadcast on the "Al-Mehwar" satellite channel: “We will take legal measures and the response will be violent. Against the shop, and the party leaderships will take quick steps.

He pointed out that the late leader of the Wafd Party has been subjected to ridicule for many years.

Wahban explained that the phrase “Mafeesh Faida”, which he was famous for and some tried to limit his history to it, said it, commenting on the deterioration of his healthy life, and that no doctor would be able to treat him.

A few days ago, the pioneers of social media launched a violent attack on a popular food store, due to its way of advertising the restaurant via social media.

And the restaurant published, on its official Facebook page, pictures of leader Saad Zaghloul carrying "falafel pouches."

Social media pioneers expressed their disapproval of the propaganda that the restaurant resorted to, as they used one of the symbols of patriotism in Egypt, the leader Saad Zaghloul.

Activists pointed out that the method of advertisements was very poor, with an outright mockery of the ancient national symbol.
