The Dubai Health Authority announced the separation of all clinics known medically and internationally as fever clinics, or "infectious diseases" in primary health care centers, from other specialized medical clinics, in order to strengthen the system of prevention adopted by the authority to combat communicable diseases and epidemics, which aims to provide a safe health journey for patients. The authority also announced the evacuation of the Al-Mizhar, Al-Muzar and Al-Safa centers completely from the fever clinics, and directing the clients associated with the three centers to any of the fever clinics that have been isolated in all other primary care centers, in the event of a fever or symptoms of any of the infectious diseases.

The authority's procedures came to ensure the safety and health of clients who visit its centers, especially the elderly, children, people of determination, pregnant women, and other people with chronic diseases.

The Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Hamid Muhammad Al Qatami, confirmed that the authority pays great attention to patient safety in its medical facilities, and is working to improve the patient treatment journey, in line with the highest degrees of prevention and protection, and the best international standards in this regard.
