The heavily intoxicated man went out, after smashing his home on Saturday night, and forced himself into a car under the threat of an ax.

He drove from the scene, but ended up in the ditch after a few hundred meters.

In connection with this, he forces himself into another car by holding the ax to the neck of the car owner.

The man drives on and stops at a gas station.

There he drops a tree across the road and leaves the ax.

After that, he tries to force another car, but fails.

The police finally locate the man at the ferry terminal in Furuviken, where he was arrested at 9 p.m.

The man has now been arrested on suspicion of two cases of robbery and unlawful threats, attempted robbery, vandalism and drunk driving.

Further investigation will take place on Sunday.
