　　In October 1950, when the Chinese People's Volunteers crossed the Yalu River, 24-year-old Wang Hai and his comrades drove into combat with fighter jets to compete with the U.S. Air Force, which was then known as the “ace of the world”.

　　On November 18, 1951, on the Korean battlefield, Wang Hai, the flying captain at the time, and a large team of comrades piloted MiG-15 fighters were ordered to take off and intercept enemy aircraft. More than 60 American F aircraft appeared at a low altitude in front of the left. After the -84 fighter, although the strength of the enemy and the enemy were very different, Wang Hai decisively ordered an attack.

　　Wang Hai led several planes of the brigade rushing down, diving directly from an altitude of 6000 meters to a low altitude of 1500 meters, dispersing the enemy formation in one fell swoop.

In 1946, the Northeast Democratic Alliance Aviation School, the first aviation school of our army, was formally established in Tonghua. Wang Hai was selected as the first batch of students of the school, and since then he has forged an indissoluble bond with flying.

My father said that after moving to Mishan, the house had no roof or doors and windows, it was more than 40 degrees below zero, and then it was laid on the floor. The next morning the quilt could be frozen with the mouth. It was so hard.

In this way, the runway was repaired and the house was repaired. The planes were organized everywhere to go to the three provinces to find parts. The old planes were pulled back and reassembled. It was really not easy for this group of people to fly out.

"You are Wang Hai on the Korean battlefield. I was defeated by you in North Korea."

　　In July 1984, Wang Hai, who has served as the deputy commander of the Air Force, accompanied the Secretary of Defense to visit the United States. The four-star General Gabriel, Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, took Wang Hai’s hand and said, “You are the king on the Korean battlefield. Hai, I was beaten down by you in North Korea."

When someone asked why, he said that because my father is the air force of a big country, he is the winner. He said that I admire Wang Hai and the Chinese Air Force very much.
