It is a year and a half ago that 25-year-old Simon Mourujärvi in Olofström lost his personal assistance.

Since then, the family has fought in vain for him to get it back.

As a consequence, the municipality has proposed that he should instead move to a special accommodation.

The only problem is that there is no special housing for people under 30 in Olofström municipality.

- I got angry.

I feel that they have no real solutions to our problems, says Simon's sister Emma Mourujärvi.

The family is worried about how a move outside the municipality would affect Simon Mourujärvi and the security he has built up there.

- You can not move a person with a disability just like that.

It would be awful to lose my little brother at home, says Emma Mourujärvi.

Does not comment on the case

The municipality of Olofström does not want to comment on the individual case, nor does it want to be interviewed.

In a written response to SVT Nyheter Blekinge, the head of operations Helene Hagegren writes that the social welfare committee does not make any exceptions but follows the laws and regulations that exist.

And that other alternatives should be tried when the individual's needs are not judged to meet the requirements for a special effort, such as personal assistance.
