On September 4, the singer Laura Pausini (46) premiered her new single

Verdades a medias

.

An intense song, in collaboration with Bebe, that shows an honest and transparent side of the Italian.

"The truth is that all aspects of my personality are very extreme:

I am melancholic, crazy, I can get angry and be very restless.

And I need to express it through my music," he confessed to LOC, during the promotion of his song.

However, this is not the only surprise that the interpreter is preparing for this fall.

Two weeks ago a new edition of

La voz started

and Pausini, as a

coach

, promises a lot of controversy.

"I am the only woman among the three musketeers

and you will not believe that I put myself there to see them perform and nothing else. I confront myself," she explained in an explosive interview with La Otra Crónica, in which she talks about her fear of growing old, his politically incorrect nature, the culture of "cancellation" and the teachings his parents have left him about love.

Italy was one of the countries most affected by the pandemic.

How did you experience confinement? Just in January, I had decided to stop for two years.

What I wanted was not to dedicate myself to looking for songs, or to traveling.

But I had never been home for more than a week, and I even thought about calling a psychologist to help me.

But the covid arrived and the change was drastic.

And now, after confinement, I have many things to write ... And after living this situation a little to the limit.

What is Laura Pausini afraid of? I hate getting old!

I'm telling you because nobody says it, but everyone hates it.

Let's tell the truth: everything was better when we weren't that old, right?

I am also afraid to forget or not know what else to say because I have lived it all.

But, luckily, life always tells me "it's not like that". And for learning?

You tend to express yourself very spontaneously and that has brought you some problems in Spain.

For example, when she asked Toñi Moreno about her sexuality on television.

Have you learned to bite your tongue yet? Unfortunately, no!

But I am very ashamed of Toñi Moreno.

For a week I wrote "excuse me."

But now we are friends, we write.

I know you fulfilled a dream when your daughter was born.

Now your closet is full of girl's dresses! Speaking of controversy: Bebe, who sings with you on your latest single, messed it up in 2019 for saying that women waste time with the feminist struggle.

Do you think similarly? I think that human beings who have a value or a talent should have the same job opportunities, whether they are men or women.

But I do believe that this revolution becomes, at times, more of a fad than a truth. May I ask what you think about the culture of "cancellation"?

When an artist is accused of something and society decides to stop considering it.

What is happening with Plácido Domingo. I think that any form of violence should be punished and that it should be paid for.

I don't care if it's a man over a woman, a woman over a man, or a priest with a child.

All that disgusts me and I like to say that it is a shame. On other issues: her parents have just remarried, after 50 years.

What have you learned from them in relation to love? My parents are very different and have had difficult times, but they have found new ways to fall in love.

And I owe a lot to them.

I have lived four important love stories.

The last one, which I am living now, has already been 15 years.

So, obviously, from my parents comes the seriousness of my way of thinking about the couple. Their daughter Paola is already 7 years old.

It is clear that she is too young to think about her future.

But would you like your daughter to be a singer? In my country, singers' children are often judged before their talents are known and that scares me.

But if you want to sing, I want you to sing whatever music you want.

Because to this day, I think there's a lot of shit in music.

Singers should dedicate themselves to singing, not doing anything else! And about singers who do more than sing, what do you think of Miguel Bosé and the anti-mask movement that he has raised? Miguel Bosé is not just a singer, he is an artist and has his own ideas.

I think that each of us has lived this experience with our own fears.

We are all confused and try to get out of this nightmare with our own opinions.
