Corona injuries in Colombia exceed 800 thousand and more than 25 thousand deaths

Coronavirus cases in Colombia exceeded 800,000 on Saturday, one day after the number of deaths from the virus exceeded 25,000 after reopening the country about a month ago after a lengthy general isolation.

And the Ministry of Health indicated that Colombia recorded 806038 confirmed cases of the virus, in addition to 25,296 deaths that were reported.

Colombia began a general lockdown that lasted more than five months in March.

Currently, a "optional" quarantine phase is in effect, allowing dining in restaurants and international flights.

Concerts and other large events are still banned, and land and water borders are closed.
