In a normal year, a Swedish Championship week is organized where all canoe competitions are decided.
But this corona year, the competitions have been split to spread out the participants.
And Katrineholm can hold the Swedish Championship competitions for K2 and K4, that is, when two or four people are sitting in the canoes.
- In recent years, we have arranged a crew regatta and this year we were asked if we could have SM status on this crew regatta.
It is great fun that we get to arrange it and it will be an important income for our club, says Karin Lagmyr, vice president of Katrineholm's canoe club.
