Oleg Tatarov, deputy head of the office of the Ukrainian president, said this on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
"The President gave instructions to suspend any flights involving similar aircraft until the causes of the tragedy are clarified," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
It is noted that the Ministry of Defense has already begun to fulfill this order.
Zelensky also signed a decree declaring September 26 a day of mourning in the country in connection with the crash of the An-26 military aircraft.
