The Minister of Justice, after the shout of 'Long live the King' of the new judges: "Three mountains have passed"

The leader of the Popular Party, Pablo Casado, has demanded this Friday the president of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, to condemn the second vice president, Pablo Iglesias, and dismiss "immediately" the Minister of Consumption, Alberto Garzón, for his "intolerable" attacks to the king.

"If Sánchez does not immediately disavow his vice president and ministers, he will be responsible for the most serious institutional crisis in our recent history," Casado warned after the request for neutrality to the monarch made by the leaders of United We Can and United Left.

In a message on his personal Twitter account, the president of the 'popular' has stressed that "the government's attacks on the King are intolerable" and has warned that the PP will act "firmly against this subversion of the constitutional order."

Garzón has called the position of the monarchy "unsustainable", which he reproaches for breaching the principle of neutrality established by the Constitution and maneuvering "against the democratically elected Government" in reference to the controversial absence of King Felipe VI from the act of delivery of dispatches to the new judges held in Barcelona.

The monarch himself has telephoned the president of the General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ) and the Supreme Court, Carlos Lesmes, to inform him that he "would have liked" to accompany him on the spot.

For his part, the leader of Podemos has claimed "institutional respect" for the monarch, something that "means political neutrality of the head of state" and recalled that article 1.2 of the Constitution states that "sovereignty resides in the Spanish people of the that all the powers of the State emanate ".
