September 25, 2020 10% of 'cashback', i.e. the partial reimbursement of purchases made with electronic money, will have a spending ceiling of three thousand euros, therefore a maximum cashback refund of 300 euros.

To promote cashless, the government has allocated 3 billion euros a year;

those who participate in the initiative will benefit in three ways.

10% of "cashback", or three thousand euro of 'super caschback' for the first 100 thousand who use the card the most (the number of transactions counts, not the figure: 5 coffees are equivalent to 5 luxury bags).

Finally, 50 million euros in prizes with the 'receipt lottery' (only with payment card).

Some individual prizes will be € 5 million.

Sources close to the government specify this after the announcement made by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte.

The 'cashback', they explain, could increase because out of caution it is expected that all participants will reach the maximum spending: if this were not the case there will be more resources that will be able to raise the bar of 300 euros.

As for the 'receipt lottery', 50 million in prizes are confirmed for those who pay by card: single prizes can even reach 5 million euros.

Cashless, that is the spread of the use of electronic money, is a central project for the government, which changes the payment habits of consumers, more in line with Europe.

A digital, fast, simple and transparent system.
