The man immediately admitted to breaking into the villa with surveillance cameras, but first denied the rest.

Only after three weeks in custody did he admit that in August he broke in through windows at a total of five addresses, three in Kåbo and Kungsgärdet and two in Svartbäcken.

During the burglaries, computers, jewelery, watches and cash, among other things, disappeared.

He left one of the villas empty-handed.

- I thought someone saw me so I ran from there, he says in police interrogation.

Left shoe prints

During the crime scene investigation from the last burglary, where the stolen goods are valued at around SEK 50,000, the police dog handlers found a pair of shoes apparently dumped in the terrain.

The sole matched well with shoe prints from several of the burglaries and during confrontation the man confirmed that they were him.

The man is now charged with four counts of aggravated theft and one attempted aggravated theft.

He has previously been sentenced to prison for similar crimes in Stockholm.
