25 September 2020The landing of the 125 migrants who were on board Alan Kurdi, the ship of the German NGO Sea Eye, landed this morning at the industrial port of Olbia.

The first to leave the ship was an injured man, transported to hospital by ambulance after the result of the swab - negative - he had been subjected to arrived.

After him, with the dropper, some women with children got off, altogether 50 minors were on board.

Migrants are directed to tents set up on the bench for identification and medical examinations.   



At the moment, no details are known about the centers they will be transferred to. These are asylum seekers: some could go to an unused barracks of the Olbia fire brigade, which in these hours they would be arranging to accommodate them. Others will be distributed in reception facilities throughout Sardinia pending the completion of the quarantine.



Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese has already specified that of the 125 migrants only 25 will remain in Italy, all the others will be welcomed by other European countries.
