Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Yang-woo said that in a situation where non-face-to-face culture is spreading due to Corona 19, Korea and China need to seek different ways of economic cooperation.



At the opening ceremony of the 12th'Korea-China Senior Journalists Forum' held today (25th) in Jung-gu, Seoul, Minister Park said, "The volume of trade between Korea and China has grown 38 times since diplomatic relations, but the volume of trade is showing a decline due to the recent strengthening of quarantine and movement restrictions. "He said.



He then suggested that "the world is undergoing unprecedented big changes due to Corona 19, is the time for the two countries to cooperate more closely as partners in overcoming the economic crisis based on solid trust."



Minister Park also emphasized that the'Korean New Deal Policy' and China's'New Infrastructure Policy' to prepare for the post-Coronavirus are quite close to each other.



The'Korea-China Senior Journalists Forum', which marks its 12th time this year, was held through video conferencing due to the aftermath of Corona 19.
