After many trips back and forth about whether the autumn college exam should be carried out or not, the decision finally landed in that it should be done.

And at 08.00 today, registration for the test opens, 27,600 places are available and that is about half against under normal circumstances.

Those who wish to write the test can sit in a digital waiting room with a hope of a place for the test.

- I think it will be a bit chaotic.

Not everyone who wants to will be allowed to write it, which is not fair, says Linn Svärd, vice chairman of Sweden's united student union in SVT's Morgonstudion.

"I'd much rather see two samples this spring"

- We would much rather have seen two tests this spring.

Among other things, this means that these will enter the spring admission and there are quite a few who need to compete for their place.

She also highlights other factors as to why they wanted to postpone the test.

- The risk of infection is also one thing, but also that it will not be so legally certain and we think you should have had more ice in your stomach.

"A suicide mission"

Peter Honeth, who is the national coordinator for the university entrance exam, still believes that it is good that the exam can be completed.

- Because there is a great demand for the test and that is why we believe that many will take the opportunity to sign up.

There are many who want this as a complementary merit and many need it to have a chance to get into education, he says.

However, he admits that many have wondered why he took on the task as coordinator.

- It is an important assignment but it is clear that many have said that it is a suicide mission and why do you take it.

But I have still seen the opportunity to complete the test and therefore it is a positive assignment.
