In line with a plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection conducted 92,58 new examinations during the past 24 hours, with the aim of early detection, counting and isolating cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) and those who had contact with them and isolate them.
The intensification of investigation procedures and the expansion of the number of examinations at the state level contributed to the detection of 1,008 new infections with the virus, bringing the total number of cases registered in the country to 89,540 cases.
The Ministry also announced the death of two people from the repercussions of the injury, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 409 cases.
She expressed her condolences to the families of the deceased, and her wishes for a cure for the injured, calling on community members to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to instructions, and adhere to social distancing, to ensure the safety of all.
The Ministry also announced the recovery of 882 new cases of those infected with the virus, and their recovery from symptoms of the disease, bringing the total number of cure cases registered in the country to 78,819 cases.
