Since this morning, Belem pontoon, all eyes have been turned to this Russian frigate called "Shtandart".
34 meters long and with 14 sails, it is a replica of the first warship of the Baltic fleet, built in 1703 according to the plans of Tsar Peter the Great.
This museum ship, which is also a training sailboat, was built between 1994 and 1999 on the banks of the Neva in Saint Petersburg.
Since then, he has participated in numerous maritime festivals in France and in Europe.
In navigation, it can carry up to 40 people, including ten members of the crew.
A week of visits
Scheduled to arrive this weekend, the "Shtandart" has taken the lead in its navigation program and will be open for tours from this Thursday afternoon.
It will be accessible until next Friday (10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., price: 4 euros).
Several thousand visitors are expected.
