A protest against police violent law enforcement broke out in Louisville, Kentucky, on the 23rd. Two policemen were shot and injured during the protest.
On the same day, the grand jury of the city of Louisville decided not to prosecute the three police officers involved in the death of the 26-year-old black woman Brenna Taylor at her home in the city in March this year. A policeman committed three crimes of wanton harm.

The acting chief of the Louisville Police Department Robert Schroeder said at a press conference that day that two policemen were shot and injured during the protest. One of them was in stable condition and the other was undergoing surgery.
