As noted, the stage of the exercises will take place at the Kapustin Yar training ground.
“On September 25, the Russian president will make a working trip to the Southern Federal District, where the main stage of the Kavkaz-2020 strategic command-and-staff exercises will take place at the Kapustin Yar training ground,” the message says.
On September 21, the Kavkaz-2020 command-staff exercise began in Russia, in which about 80 thousand people are involved, up to 450 infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, as well as up to 250 tanks.
Later, as reported by the FAN, in the Krasnodar Territory, within the framework of the Caucasus-2020 exercise, the airborne forces worked out protection from amphibious assault.
