According to a statement issued Wednesday, the bullying of the woman endangered the life and health of the two children, and thus transgressed the principles and family values in the Egyptian society, by violating the sanctity of the two children's private lives, and using a private account on a social networking site to commit these crimes.
The “Monitoring and Analysis Unit at the Attorney General’s Office” had monitored the circulation of video clips of two children, during which the voice of a woman was heard ordering one of them to wash her feet, wash his face with water in which she put her feet in, and order the other to smoke a cigarette, and eat garbage mocking them during filming, and present the matter to the counselor. The Public Prosecutor ordered investigation measures to be taken.
In coordination with the police, through the information that was available about the accused on social media, she was able to determine her and her place of residence, and it was also possible to identify the two children of the victim, who are the children of one of her neighbors.
In the Second October Police Department in Giza Governorate, the 52-year-old woman who appeared in the two videos included her bullying the two three and five-year-olds. In the video, the woman “ordered one of the two children to wash her feet and wash his face with water that she puts her feet in, while ordering The other was smoking a cigarette, and forcing them to eat from the trash mocked them during filming.
According to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior, the woman "admitted to hosting the two children, who hold the nationality of an African country, from her neighbors, to sit with them with her children, and to film these clips as a joke."
The woman denied all the accusations, claiming that the victims were always present in her home by virtue of the fact that they were the sons of one of her neighbors to play with her children, and that she filmed the clips of her accusation as a joke with them, then deleted them from her phone after a while, denying that they were published on any social media site.
The “Public Prosecution” asked the parents of the victim, and they testified that the accused committed the incident. They recognized their sons and the accused’s voice in the circulated clips, confirming her accusation of exposing their sons to danger, bullying them and exploiting them to serve her forcibly.
