Last year, Vingåker with its 239th place was the worst in Sörmland.
Now the municipality has moved to place 121.
- It is of course gratifying that the work we have put in has an effect.
But we have gone a little cancerous and gone up and down several times.
I hope that this is the beginning of a trend, says Annelie Bengtsson (S), chairman of the municipal board in Vingåker.
She believes that one of the reasons for the improvement is that the municipality has worked with communication and transparency towards the companies, and that the municipality has a new business manager.
Size can matter
- We are also a small municipality.
It does not take much for us to get worse or better points, it is enough that something has happened in the municipality, she says.
Trosa still has the best position of the municipalities in Sörmland, which remains in place 9.
