"A special detachment to combat the PDSS of the Caspian Flotilla destroyed a sabotage and reconnaissance group of a mock enemy as part of the Kavkaz-2020 strategic command-staff exercise in Dagestan," the department said.

It is noted that "the exercise took place in the Caspian Sea near the base of the ships of the flotilla."

Earlier it was reported that the servicemen of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation of the Airborne Forces in preparation for the strategic command and staff exercises "Kavkaz-2020" destroyed more than 100 conventional tanks and air targets of the enemy.
