He specified that the modernization implies the creation of a system of multilevel laboratory diagnostics of infectious diseases, the modernization of the infrastructure of medical organizations, the construction of a federal scientific and practical center for infectious diseases.
Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called for the modernization of the infectious diseases service.
