23 September 2020The Football Federation's Prosecutor's Office has just opened an investigation into the story of the 'farce' exam carried out by the footballer Luis Suarez in Perugia to acquire Italian citizenship.

ANSA learns this.

The head of the prosecutor's office of the Football Federation, Giuseppe Chinè, also asked for the documents of the investigation by the ordinary judiciary of Perugia.

"Luis Suarez's examination took place regularly, without any favoritism".

This was stated in an interview with 'La Stampa' by David Brunelli, lawyer of the Rector of the University for Foreigners of Perugia who insists on his innocence.

"When I said in the interception that the player had to be on the track, I was referring to the training path, not a shortcut to being instructed to answer questions."

Attorney Brunelli, isn't this justification a bit strange?

In the interceptions Rocca says that the player has 'walked well' by making him 'memorize the various parts of the exam'.

And the teacher replies that Suarez 'must be on that track'.

"I still have to examine all the papers of the investigation and we only had a quick conversation with Professor Grego - underlines Brunelli - But she was keen to clarify that that line sentence, spread by the mass media, was not understood. said that she was referring to the binary intended as an educational process, a course of study ".

But why did he use the term binary?

"Because at university they have the habit of using that term to define the course of study of foreigners. Like the track of the Spanish, that of the French and in this case of the Uruguayan".

Yet in the conversation with Rocca there is talk of routing the player by making him even memorize the part to be played.

"My client - concludes the lawyer - reiterates her total extraneousness to any offense: the test was carried out in compliance with the rules
